Dear Constituents, Ladies, Gentlemen, and Friends…

Thank you very much for your continuing trust and confidence in me!

For a number of years, I have had the great honour of serving you as your MLA. Thank you very much for your continuing trust and confidence in my work, to bring your concerns to our government and seek solutions.

In addition to MLA work, I have been honoured by my MLA colleagues in being elected as the Deputy Speaker, along with long hours of work!

Besides legislation and policy development work as your MLA, in recent years I have supported funding for many projects to improve quality of life in our area, such as: Dover View Park, Erinwoods Arena, Elliston Park Globalfest, Calgary Soccer Centre, Fort Calgary, Inglewood Folk Music Hall, Inglewood Bow River Weir, Dover Deerfoot-Peigan Trail interchange, Doverglen noise barriers, many playgrounds, several affordable housing projects, Seniors residences, and the Calgary East Health Centre in Forest Lawn (just to name a few).

Alberta is the best province in Canada, filled with great people with a strong “can do” & self reliant spirit. Our government is stable, accountable and caring with 2 saving funds, the lowest tax regimes, no new tax, no debt, a strong free enterprise economy, abundant natural resources, and the best employment rate in Canada. What a great place to be and good governance to have!

I live in Dover, in the middle of our Calgary Fort constituency. Kim and I have 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, with their own professions: lawyer, CA, engineers and scientist. We’ve been blessed with our first grandchild Dylan, 2.5 years old. Before working for you as MLA, I had a successful career in our valuable oil & gas industry, in Alberta and other parts of the world.

 I have a proven record of working for you. I have professional, political and life experience that you can count on, to understand you, to serve you and protect your interests. I pledge to continue to serve you as I always have, with dedication and honesty.
